Fireseal – a security seal with low breaking strength

Fireseals’ low breaking strength makes the seal particularly suitable for purposes where it is necessary to be able to break the seal quickly and easily, and without the use of tools.

This means that Fireseal is the perfect solution for fire extinguishers, escape routes, first aid kits and similar devices.

Of course, this also means that it is not necessary to use tools to break the seal.

Fireseal has been tested and approved, cf. requirements for DS / EN 3-7 hand-held fire extinguishers, including requirements, cf. DS2320.

A security seal must be able to be broken between> 20 N and <100 N in accordance with DS / EN 3-7, including DS2320. The test is performed in accordance with DS / EN 3-7 pK. 10.3 (Safety device), and Annex B (Range of operating temperature), where tests are performed at Tm¡n = -30 degrees and Tmax = +60 degrees, as well as at T = +20 degrees.

Fireseal is part of Miladan’s selection of variable plastic security seals.

It is a popular solution with many of our business customers who demand a low breaking strength. The security seal is designed for sealing fire extinguishers, escape routes, first aid kits and similar applications that must be able to be broken by all persons – IRRESPECTIVE OF AGE.

Text and logo can be printed with hot stamping (hotfoil) or laser engraved. Laser engraving is only recommended on “light” seals (white, light blue, yellow, orange, light green and similar colors).

Fireseal is designed with a round grooved strap. It is made of polypropylene (PP), which is a plastic material that is a commonly used material for a large number of our plastic seals.

The total length of the seal is 250 mm, and has a working length of 195 mm.

Standard or customised solution

We offer Fireseal in both a customised and a standard version.

We have a graphic department that organizes your wishes and needs in a visual draft, so you can get a taste of the product’s design.

It is possible to add your own text, serial number and logo. Text and logo can be printed heat stamped or laser engraved.
